As part of Cities Day, an initiative led by RIL, we welcomed more than 100 mayors from across the country to Crucijuegos for a day focused on some of today's major urban challenges: sustainable cities, the environment, nature, and public space.
The event brought together representatives from different municipalities at our industrial plant, creating a space to discuss how cities are evolving today and the role public spaces play in that transformation.
A new space for thinking about cities
The day also marked the official opening of our new showroom and auditorium, two spaces designed to further strengthen the link between industry, public management, and urban planning.
These new spaces were created with a clear idea in mind: to showcase concrete solutions while also opening up conversations about how to build more active, inclusive, and sustainable cities.
A tour of our industrial plant
During the visit, the mayors toured our plant and got a close look at the design, engineering, and manufacturing processes behind the projects we develop across the country.
From playground equipment to recreational, sports, and urban spaces, the tour offered a comprehensive view of public space and its impact on everyday life.
Public space as a tool for urban management
Gatherings like this one reflect something we see more and more clearly: public space is no longer just a recreational matter — it has become a strategic tool within urban management.
Movement, connection, wellbeing, nature, and community are increasingly part of the same conversation.
At Crucijuegos, we believe the challenge facing cities isn't only about growing, but about creating environments that foster real, sustainable everyday experiences.
And that's where we aim to contribute every day: working alongside municipalities and management teams to develop public spaces that generate concrete impact in their communities.
Working together to build more human cities
Collaboration between the public sector, industry, and planning will become increasingly important in addressing the urban challenges ahead.
Gatherings like this one make that possible: sharing experiences, building a shared vision, and thinking together about how to design more human cities.
